Illinois Traffic Law…Please help?
My friend's license is revoked. He got caught driving while it was just suspended and they revoked him, sentencing him to a year of supervision. He just violated his supervision by getting caught driving...his supervision started last july and is on until this july..he just got caught two months ago. Is he looking at jailtime or are there more options? BTW his case is at skokie not at the daley center so I know skokie is alot more harsh. Please help...anybody know???

Do You Have To Obey Traffic SIgns On Private Property?
Obviously some laws are in effect 24/7, such as prohibitions on murder (which can only be overcome with an affirmative defense).
And since a traffic law (stop sign) only has the authority to command you to stop when you are in its proximity.
We also know that many things which are illegal in public are not illegal on private property because the law does not reach there (i. e. drunkedness). Also, things like the fact that you do not need a driver's license to operate a motor vehicle on your own property.
So do traffic laws in public shopping centers have any criminal penalties (i'm talking criminal and not tort resulting from a failure to obey the signs) attached to them?
If I blow the stop sign on the provate property that is the local grocery store parking lot can I be ticketed?
Please note that a "public shopping center" as I call them is "private property" to the owner.

Do traffic signs threaten people with eternal damnation if they’re not obeyed?
Somebody just claimed that traffic signs don’t control motorists; they prevent motorists from running off bridges. They used this as an analogy for their deity and associated dogma. Apparently, if you don’t heed the dogma, you might metaphorically run off a bridge. But this analogy fails like so many other Christian analogies because traffic signs don’t have a “Obey or burn in hell!” function like the Christian concept does, right?
Can you receive a traffic ticket by the traffic light cameras.?
I accidently ran a red light. I think the traffic lights has those cameras things on it. I live in Florida and was wondering can they give you a ticket for it. I thought it is different for every state, but just wanted to make sure? Also, if they do give tickets, do you have to be a repeat offender or do they automatically give you one on the first offense?
