Read in July that the cost over runs and traffic predictions are catching up with unhappy investors. Perhaps as time passes we all forgive the original motivation for connecting France and England by tunnel.

Traffic Jam?
A driver is stuck in a traffic jam going into
Downtown Chicago . Nothing is moving north or south.
Suddenly a man knocks on his window.
The driver rolls down his window and asks, "What
happened, what's the hold up?"
"Terrorists have kidnapped Hillary Clinton, Rosie
O'Donnell, Jesse Jackson, and Al Sharpton. They are
asking for a $10 million ransom. Otherwise they are
going to douse them with gasoline and set them on
fire. So we are going from car to car, taking up a
collection."
The driver asks, "On average, how much is everyone
giving?"
"About a gallon."
Is there a site to view weather along a route?
I'm looking for a website to let me view the weather along a route, like the I-5. Kind of like how SigAlert allows you to view traffic along the freeways, is there one that allows you to view weather? I'm driving from So. Cal to Oregon tomorrow and I want to know what I'm up against. Thanks!
How much can I expect to pay for passing traffic, on the freeway, from the left hand median, in California?
Vehicle Code 21750 - Basically traffic was stopped on the 15 Freeway for a "SIGALERT" (accident) and I was running late to work. I jumped on the left hand shoulder (center divider) and passed traffic that was stopped in all four other lanes. I was in a rental car so I didn't give a crap about what I ran over.
Anyway, an undercover CHP officer lit me up and pulled me over. I am wondering what amount I should expect to pay for "Passing illegally on the left/shoulder"... The cop wrote on the ticket i was doing 45mph+.. Not sure if that will impact the ticket cost.
Please give me some feedback!

Is there a website that provides live traffic updates on Interstates?
I know of these two resources:
1. http://www.traffic.com - provides information for metro areas and some other cities, as well.
2. http://www.google.com/gmm - provides live information - but only on mobile phones.
Anything else out there?
I'm driving from Philadelphia, PA to Chicago, IL. I will make a stop in Toledo, OH. Google and Yahoo give different routes for both the segments. I want to compare the two routes and decide.
Any suggestions?
