Can an officer use an expired registration to give a traffic ticket?
The License plate number is my old one, which is the one he wrote on the ticket, however he had a more recent expiration date on the ticket than the one on my old registration.

go to court and fight it…usually discrepencies on tickets get them thrown out… i beat a ticket because the cop wrote down the wrong type of plate I had even though it was my number (I had a truck plate but he wrote passenger vehicle). it cant hurt to try.
