you did the right thing. you could have took a class to not get points. you can only do it every so many years and need to have clean record thou. its like prayer for judgement but cheaper? i live in nc. i know some towns do not have this choice.

i had to go to the raleigh courthouse b/c i was going 60 in a 35 and it was considered reckless driving :/ but i took this class and they reduced it. your prayer for judgement was definitely not needed. but that giant courthouse is so confusing… i feel your pain.
PS.. if your driving in apex dont speed b/c apex cops are terrible and will pull you for no reason.. some jerk pulled me because my license plate light was out and he gave me a 30 minute lecture on car maintenance… beware!!

Yeah you could have just gotten it reduced to nine over. I had a ticket for fifteen over in Raleigh and anything under ten doesn’t show up on your insurance. You just have to pay the $125 or so in court fees which sucks but then you don’t have to worry about it. Your way works too though, it’s just a bit more stressful. Yeah the courthouse is annoying, and I just had to stand in the line outside the courtroom.
