Why do all Japanese robots look like some eight year old kid designed them? (I’m Japanese and I think they look like crap. They should have used 1:13 scale cars or something.)

the amont of money will be negligible for anytechnology when manufactured in bulk. This technology will cerntainly keep one safe when some one suddenly turns in front of the car, it will respond quicker than a human would and swerve/break accordingly

Think of the amount of money it would cost for one of these cars on the road. Surely it wouldn’t be cheap for the average person!
Plus all the regular cars on the road would make this difficult when drivers are still disastrous. Can this technology keep a person safe when someone suddenly turns in front of an AI car?
