It appears that protecting illegal aliens is a bigger priority than protecting your own citizens. WHY IS THAT?
Think about it , as consumers how long are we going to let insurance companies(All) screw us anyway they want?
Even though I pay almost 600.00 a month in the state of Georgia for automobile insurance ( full coverage), I found out if I was in an accident and even though it was not my fault ,a insurance company can charge me with 25% of the accident even though the other driver was ticked for failure to yield, And they are within the law? In this case they are stealing 12,000.00 in damages by just saying Our adjuster see's it this way contrary to police and eye witnesses statements and oh yea we total led your car.How many of you can relate to begging these insurance companies to charge you a outrageous premium so they can refuse to pay when needed. As consumers we let it go, maybe to proud to admit when ripped off, or maybe boy we're lucky they didn't cancel? Another example In Georgia building contractors why even bother getting licensed? I found if Someone was to build a home for example , It happened to me, I paid out 90% of total cost, he completed 50% of the work,and just stole the rest, left a complete mess, but Georgia license's board can do nothing he put my name as the builder , Even though the home is as now unlivable, BBB will only go after a Business if it's a member. if you're unlicensed not a member they can continue without as much as a warning. Lawyers tell me you can sue him but you'll get a judgment in your favor but no money,,. This is two examples of fraud against a consumers, I'm not perfect by any means but this I will do if you give me a 50.00 bill to buy something for you, if it costs 49.99 I'll give you the penny back, if it costs 59.99 I'll pay the difference and say nothing. Honesty, ethical Business behavior is becoming rare in America, as long as it's legal who cares if we screwed that guy out of his last hope. The two examples I gave, in today's world people when hearing this story are steadfast those SOB'S should be in jail, but these people I believe are regarded as "good businessman" and in my case honesty will lose every time to the businessman. Do I need a lawyer for a no fault accident, the other driver lied.?
My car was hit on the front driver side when a driver in the left lane swerved into my center lane and hit me. I was stopped at the red light, it turned green and I started to pull off when the other driver came flying through and swerved into my lane. She either lost control or was trying to avoid the ditch on her side. Either way my front is damaged and my light is out. Her passenger side between her wheel and the door has a big scratch down the side but my car has the huge dent in the front where she impacted me.
The officer refused to give anyone a ticket or state fault because the cops in Georgia have decided to stop naming who is at fault if they didn't see who did it. (stupid) She lied and said that I swerved and hit her even though I have the impact dent! Then she lied to her insurance company and said that I switched lanes and hit her. Basically she's a liar and so now my insurance company is gonna make me pay for my damage, I don't have collision coverage. What should I do?

Dismissed DUI Case Reopened, Arizona?
A dui charge I had in april 2007 was dismissed as my attorneys records show. Now 3 years later I get a letter saying that i've had a warrant out for my arrest, on my failure to show up to a hearing, since May 2008!
Neither I nor my Attorney was contacted and all this time I've had a warrant out for my arrest...
I'm in the process of getting the warrant quashed and setting a hearing date for the reopened case.
Can this be done!? A case reopened with zero notification to myself nor my attorney!?
Probation Violation in Las Vegas ?
I read up on the laws concerning Probation violations in Las Vegas. However, I am being told different things from different people.
I was told that my friend already had an arraignment for her DUI from the PO's supervisor.
I was told there is no arraignment for a probation violation.
I was told that Parole and Probation take their time in scheduling a court date.
I was told that Parole and Probation has up to 45 days to schedule a court date (I guess from the arrest date-not the date of the incident).
I was told that it could take up to 60 or 90 days to schedule a court date.
I callrd the detention center and they say it's up to Parole and Probation to schedule a court date.
I called to Parole and Probation and they say it's up to the court to schedule a court date.
What should I believe? I have no clue how long this will take. My stomach is in knots.
She has a lawyer and I was told that they are trying to get her counselling since she was paying all of her monthly fines, she was working full time with a good job, she was taking care of her family and she was going to all of her PO meetings back in the summer of this year. (They PO meetings only lasted about 13 weeks). I was told that she was doing really good (which I already knew).
Also I have a few other questions.
I was told that people in CCDC can not make collect calls out of state. I am in Southern California. Can they only make collect calls to Nevada? I wrote her a letter informing her that she can call me collect.
Is there any difference from the 1st floor to the 4th floor? I mean are certian kind of inmates on floor 1 and others are on floor 2, etc? She is on the 4th floor. I do not even know if she has a cell mate or not.
What is the best that I can expect in time wise for a court date so I can go. (I was told from the PO that I can go if I wanted to). I am hoping for a time before Christmas.

Oh also. Not sure if her plea was guilty or innocent on the DUI charge. I was told that that plea would impact her stay in CCDC. Appeartly, they process the new charges first then take care of the probation.
