Should they double moving traffic violation fines if there is a child in the car?

I think they should, a child can not get himself out of this situation. An adult can say "let me out of the car" or "slow down"

  1. Yes..good idea..

  2. Yes! That is a great idea!

  3. I’m first in line to protect children … BUT, let’s not give them any ideas.

Hell, I live in Phoenix Az where they have just installed photo radar on the freeway for crying out loud.

If we give them any ideas, before you know it they will install a monitoring device in every vehicle .. and when you exceed the speed limit; they will auto debit your checking account. BIG BROTHER getting WAY TOO BIG.

  4. You know that is a really good idea.

    I agree

  5. No they find other stupid things to get you for enough is enough, i don’t even drive the speed limit. I drive under it besides i don’t have any kids living in my home they are grown up and moved out.

  6. No because its just a good ploy for the state to take more money out of people for nothing. Doubling fines or tripling fines does nothing to improve safety.

  7. not only double the fine, but make the parent go to parenting classes, for awhile, they put there child in such high risk situation, there is a problem

  8. offhand, that might seem a good idea, but in the end it might result in some child having to do without in order for the parent to pay said fines.
