Do other states take into account traffic violation points on your license?
When you get a point on your record for a traffic violation, does that point only stay on that state's driver's license?
If I have a license in another state, will my insurance only look at my driving record for it's own particular state? or is there some sort of national record that exists?

At renewal time, your insurance will look at your driving record. Your driving record will include all moving violations on your record, regardless of where you were when you got the violation.
